One more trophy has been added by Paramore to their collection of awards with their 2010 Kerrang! Awards win. The Hayley Williams fronted rock band received four nominations from the UK music awards organization and won one award for Best Album for “Brand New Eyes,” the band’s third studio album.

Despite the band winning for Best Album, the three other kudos slipped out of their hands. Biffy Clyro won the Best Video award for “The Captain.” Bullet For My Valentine won as Best Live Band and 30 Seconds to Mars won the Best International Band trophy.

Paramore, the American rock band, have announced they will be featuring tracks that were recorded during current summer tour gigs on an upcoming limited edition EP.

The six track “2010 Summer Tour EP” will be featuring songs from their US “Honda Civic Tour.”

“My Heart” and “Ignorance,” two Paramore tracks, will be appearing on the album. Also featured will be Tegan and Sara songs “Kadawatha” and “New Found Glory.”

Only 3,000 copies of the CD will be available in US Hot Topic stores and from Paramore’s website.

Paramore took time out of their spring tour on Friday May 14 to make an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” They performed a sweet and somber version of “The Only Exception,” their current single. Their performance, taped on Thursday, showcased the burgeoning quiet side of Paramore. Frontwoman Hayley Williams sang with her eyes tightly closed and in hushed tones, while guitarist Josh Farro strummed the melody on his acoustic guitar and sang backup.

The band leveraged their success from two hit songs in late 2008 from the first “Twilight” film to help make their 2009 album a mature one, proving the critics wrong who had predicted that the band would be torn apart by their fame. Williams said, our fans knew who we were. Outside of that it was easy writing us off as the band from the “Twilight” soundtrack or girl with crazy hair.

It seems kind of strange talking about new songs from Paramore, seeing that their album “Brand New Eyes” just came out seven months ago. However, the band is actually working on new tracks, although very slowly.

The Honda Civic Tour began in 2001 with rock band Blink 182 as front liners for the said event. The tour not only features rock bands touring various US cities for several months, it also raffles a Honda Civic Coupe to be given away at the end of each yearly tour. In 2009, the tour did not push through but in 2008, the tour was headlined by Panic at the Disco, and they were joined by other groups like Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound and Phantom Planet, who is best remembered for their hit song “California”, the theme for the TV series, The O.C.

Tennessee based rock quintet Paramore will be touring this spring to promote their newest group effort, “Brand New Eyes”. Their first stop would be in Knoxville in their home state at TN on April 26. This will be followed by a much anticipated performance at the Bamboozle Music Fest on Labor Day, May 1, at East Rutherford, New Jersey. They will be headlining the two-day music festival. They will be touring 13 cities throughout the first two weeks of May which will be concluded with a performance at Las Vegas on May 16.

Rock group Paramore is currently on a tour across America to promote their newest album which just hit the stores last September – “Brand New Eyes”, which is their follow-up to their highly successful and critically acclaimed sophomore album, “Riot!”. However, in a show held at the Fox Theater in Pomona, CA on September 29, which was the band’s first show of the tour, the band’s front woman, Hayley Williams, experienced voice fatigue and found it hard to continue singing for an encore performance.

Hayley Williams and the rest of Paramore will promote their third studio endeavor, “Brand New Eyes”, while touring across the US this fall. Kick starting the US tour is a show to be held on the 1st of October in Los Angeles after which, they will be performing in 17 other US cities until they close the event with a rock smashing performance in their home town in Nashville, TN right after Halloween.
